Sequim, a small town in Washington State, is located in the picturesque foothills of the Olympic Mountains and the Straits of Juan De Fuca.
It is a great place to raise a family--quiet streets, good schools, safe neighborhoods with kind neighbors.
The Olympic Peninsula and especially Sequim is known for its moderate climate.
We live in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains leading to only 11-19 of rainfall a year (comparable to Southern California) and only occasional snow fall.
Some people argue that there is sunshine in Sequim 360 days out of the year.
We think that is stretching the truth a little, but as compared to most other Pacific Northwest communities, we have great weather.
Sequim is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.
Hiking through the pristine forests and along the nation's longest natural sand spit, golfing at our distinct golf courses are just a few of the ideas.
Beside great outdoors, we also have good schools.
In addition to public education from kindergarten through high school, there are several small private schools to choose from as well as Peninsula Olympic College in Port Angeles which offers a selection of adult courses.
If this sounds like home to you, come join our Paragon Dermatology Family.
