It will be for the evening shift.
The main banker verifies all money drops and deposit money into specific departments; business revenue; process checks; maintains various records of Main Bank activities; count and balance appropriate revenue sheets; responsible for Cage Vault including balancing and daily accounting of all revenue; oversees Cage Cashier on assigned shift and handle customer concerns; pull and count mutilated money, preparing it to be returned to the bank; held accountable to a high degree for the accuracy, confidentiality and thoroughness of department records and reports.
Selling and redeeming slot gaming tickets, instructing players and features of the slot equipment and basic Casino procedures.
Responsible for handling large amounts of currency, balancing as well as completing paperwork neatly and accurately.
Handle more than one assigned bank.
Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide courteous and friendly service while assisting customers and employees with transactions, questions and requests.
Responsible for the funds entrusted during the shift.
Generate bank deposits, chips inventory and maintain cash banks; process daily cash revenue.
Maintain and assure the proper routing of the department's paperwork.
Handle large sums of currency, checks and chips cashier turn-ins, money exchanges and due-backs.
Process customer credit card requests and cash advances.
Transact paid-ins and paid-outs.
Comply with Internal Controls and Title 31 requirements.
Issue gift cards and promotional chips.
Add selling/ redeem slot vouchers.
Oversee, train and coach Cage Cashiers.
Control Cage Vault and balance Casino Cage.
Maintain supplies for the Cage.
Perform POS transactions.
Demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and attention to details when performing transactions with money and/or filling out required paperwork.
Maintain a constant, regular attendance record.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two (2) years' experience with working knowledge of all Cage functions and regulations preferred.
Extensive money handling and cashiering experience.
Must be able to work with interruptions.
Ability to operate computers, currency counter, and calculator.
Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
